Carley Mak Lee
Carley is a Senior Counsel at Chuck & Tsoong, LLP. Her litigation practice focuses on real estate and banking matters, representing landowners, lenders, investors, and servicers.
Carley has extensive experience in a wide range of practice areas before state and federal courts, which enables her to serve the needs of a diverse individual, corporate, and governmental clientele. With an eye for details that others often miss and the ability to clearly explain complex principles, Carley delivers results in fast-paced, high-stakes litigation with many moving pieces and little room for error. She has successfully protected clients from exposures to multi-million dollar liabilities and defended against challenges of jury awards in her clients' favor.
Prior to joining Chuck & Tsoong, LLP, Carley's civil litigation practice areas included business litigation, real estate litigation, and product liability defense at the trial and appellate levels. Additionally, Carley has assisted clients with a number of family law matters, including pre-divorce planning, marital settlement agreements, custody issues, move-away orders, restraining orders, adoptions, guardianships, and more. Given her diverse experience, Carley has an understanding of civil litigation issues related to family law, such as Marvin actions for palimony and property division, and collections issues.
Carley is a 2007 graduate of Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, California, and is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association. She is conversant in Cantonese Chinese.
